Amish Horse and Buggy
Thanks to all who have been on an Amish tour with us so far this spring. The weather has been beautiful and the landscape on the route is amazing this time of year. The Amish gardens are growing like crazy. They have lettuce, radishes, and green onions ready to eat. Many folks are wondering if we get to see Amish working with their horse-drawn equipment in their fields as we travel through the countryside. At this time of year we get to watch the Amish mow their alfalfa fields. When the alfalfa is dry they will use the horse-drawn hayloader and wagon to get the hay off the field and back to their farms. Some Amish are cultivating their corn rows as well.
